Issue 229 of the Attali'ah Weekly, 22 July 1982
Published on 22 July 1982, this document shows issue 229 of the Attali'ah Weekly, whose editor-in-chief was Bashir al-Barghouthi and which was printed at the Salah ad-Din Press in Jerusalem. This issue contained numerous subjects, including the demolition of 1,200 homes in the city of Rafah along with subsequent land confiscation by the Israeli Occupation Authorities; the establishment of a settlement outpost in the Old Town of the city of Jerusalem in addition to the Arab-US negotiations on the war on Lebanon. It also contained several political, economic and social news items, and dedicated a section for sports, arts and cultural news.
