Found in the archives of ʿĀdel az-Zawaty, this paper clipping documents the Arabic and Hebrew spelling of al-Faluja Village. Located in Gaza, the village bears the tomb of Shihab ed-Din Ahmad al-Falujy, a Sheikh respected by farmers, bedouins, and the tribes of the Negev. The village withstood a siege that lasted from 10/14/1948 to 2/26/1949, and the clipping states that Jamal Abden-Naṣer was among the besieged, later in 1950, the Blogot Colony was built on the land of the village.
