A paper clipping entitled "abu Subhi" the Faction Leader of Sakhnin During the Palestine Great Rebellion 1936-39. He participated in the significant t battle of Tarshiha on 18 August 1939. The clipping mentions that he disarmed Rabah el-ʿawad from his rifle; as he was found asleep on the road to Jiddin and therefore, left him alone.
