Ramadan abu Aly, from an-Naʿany village near al-Ramla, was a fighter in the Great Palestine Rebellion 1936. He, with other fighters, planted a mine on the road between Hebron and Beersheba 1936, which destroyed a British armoured vehicle. He was specialized in targeting armoured vehicles and mine-planting.
