This paper clipping documents the name of Banu Qudama, a Palestinian family from the town of Jamma'in, Subdistrict of Nablus, known as a people of fiqh, knowledge and language. The Banu Qudama family migrated to Damascus in the sixth century A.H. and established al-Salihiyah neighbourhood and abi Amer school for teaching Hanbali jurisprudence.
