"Hirbiya", Adel Zawati, a Paper Clipping
Handwritten in Arabic, this paper clipping documents the name of "Hirbiya", a depopulated village northeast of Gaza and southwest of al-Majdal, 2.5 kilometres to the west of the Majdal-Faza main road and the new Coastal Plain highway. In 1948, Zionists occupied and displaced the village and established the colony of "Karmiya", "Yad Mordechai" and "Zikim".
