Printed in al-Sharq al-Arabiya Press with Muhammad abu Labdeh as the managing editor and Siham al-Asaly as the senior editor, this 60-page document shows issue no. 48 of ash-Shiraa Magazine. Issued in January 1983 with its cover and fonts crafted by Palestinian artist Adnan az-Zubaydy, the issue features news pieces and articles themed on Palestinian and world politics, local investigations, and literature as follows: The Palestinian politics section includes a set of articles, including "Criticism of the National Dimension", "The Khalde / Al-Khalisa Conspiracy" about direct talks between Lebanon and Israel, negotiation on the Khalde and al-Khalisa (currently the Qiryat Shemona Colony), and Israel's policy to conclude reconciliations with Arab countries each on its own. "Sam 5, the Road to Strengthening Relations with the Soviet Union" on the Soviet-made SAM 5 bases in Syria and the American preparation for the attack. The "Syrian - Palestinian Relations", an article on the tense relations between the Palestine Liberation Organization and Yaser Arafat specifically with the Syrian regime after their withdrawal from Lebanon. "Syrian Stability in Lebanon", an article by ʿĀdel Samara and the last article is "Facing the Police in Lebanon". The local investigation section features the following, "Talks with Country Leaders”, a talk with Hasan Jabbarin, Ghassan Ghbareyyeh and Zahida Jabbarin. An article on "The Erudites of Academic Dialogues" about a meeting between Palestinian academics, Salim Tamari, Rita Jaqman, Nabil Kassis, Khalil Mahshi, and Israeli academics. This section also features an interview with Vera Tamari, and an investigation about the student movement in Palestinian universities. The Israeli section includes news pieces about Israeli, its politics and policies. The Arab politics section includes an interview with Ali Yaʿta, Moroccan leftist, on the situation of the left in Morocco and the Arab world, and needed alliances.   The world politics section features a news piece about Lumumba Jr, a meeting with Francois Patrice Lumumba on the Mouvement National Congolais. This issue also features miscellaneous pieces, such as articles by Nabil al-Julany, Muhammad ʿWais and others, and literature pieces.
