A Statment by the British High Commissioner on the 1929 Buraq Uprising
Printed in Arabic, this document shows a statement by the High Commissioner of the British Mandate Government in Palestine, J.R. Chancellor, regarding the enactment of the amended Courts Act of 1929, which provides for the formation of courts to hear “criminal” cases arising from the recent disturbances of British judges, and by strikes, the events of the 1929 Buraq Uprising are meant.
