Taken in 2015, this colour photograph captures a freeze of the theatrical performance "Bait Bernarda Alba [The House of Bernarda Alba]" in cooperation between the Popular Theatre Troupe and the Mawasem Theatre Troupe. Directed by Fathy Abder-Rahman, this play, based on Federico García Lorca's "La casa de Bernarda Alba", features vocals by Muhammad Masharqa, music by Muhannad Qaʿdan, "al-Haṣad [The Harvest] song by Jamil as-Sayeh, lighting by Ahmad Ṣalah and stage management by Muhammad Farukh and Uday al-Juʿbeh. Actors in the play include Odell Naṣer, Lara Naṣṣar, Muna al-Basha, Razan al-Khatib, Amanda Bahbah, Christina Musa, Āmal Ṣalah, Marah Yasin, and Ubadya Ṣalah.
