Taken in 2005, this colour photograph shows the "Bayad al-Aynayn (The Whites of Your Eyes)" theatre staff at an honorary celebration held after the show. Written by ʾAyman Ighbareyyeh and directed by Munir Bakreyyeh, the play tells the story of a hit-and-run carried out against the son of a Palestinian worker from Jenin. Produced by al-Midan Theatre, the play sheds light on such horrific events carried out and hushed-up by Jews in the 1948 Palestinian Occupied Territories.
