"A Group of Palestinian Fedayeen at Alsokhnah Camp", a Photograph by Hany Jawhariyye, 1968
Issued by the Palestinian Cinema Institution- Unified Information - P.L.O in 1976, this photograph shows a group of Palestinian fedayeen at Alsokhnah Training Camp; one of the most important camps based in Jordon specialized in training fedayeen for military action ranging from preparing new fedayeen volunteering in the Palestinian revolution to training groups to execute fidaʾi actions. The photograph was taken by the Palestinian shaheed and film-maker Hany Jawhariyye and found in a special issue of "Palestinian Images" magazine, which includes 18 photographs of Jawhariyye's life work taken between 1967 and 11 April 1976.
