Handwritten in 2008 by Bassam ash-Shakʿa, this two-page tribute on the 60th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba tackles the following cases: the importance of implementing a Palestinian national self-check to identify the causes of defeat against the enemies; criticising the self-rule policy used by Israel to control the Palestinian people's daily life, take over the land and defeat the national will; criticising peace talks with Isreal, particularly the Camp David Accords, which were the first step made toward achieving the Zionist project; and criticising the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and its decision-making.
