The Seige on Iraq and Filtering out the Palestinian Cause", an Article by Bassam ash-Shakaa, 1990-1999
Handwritten by Bassam al-Shakaa, this four-page article addresses the subjects of the siege on Iraq and filtering out the Palestinian cause in 1990-1999 as follows: (1) The Iraqi crisis exposed the imperialist-Zionist intentions against the Arab states, which aim to divide, adapt and filter out the Palestinian cause to the political and military control of the Zionist project. (2) The visit made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Said as-Saffah to Syria as a first Arab-nationalist step toward ending the siege. (3) The Iranian position that condemns the siege as an entrance into an Arab-Islamic alliance. (4) There is a need for a unity between Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to encounter the U.S.-Zionist project in the Arab region and Arab League Summit.
