The two hundred and sixty-eighth issue of Attaliah Newspaper which was published on 21 April 1983. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issue’s editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: - A large public opposition in the occupied territories against attempts to establish "loyal delegations" to the Jordanian law. - The United States attempts to break the forces opposing the Regan project. - The United States assigns Egypt and Jordan with missions for the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations. - Washington uses intensified settlement operations to pressure the Arabs and recruit supporters for the Regan project. - This is how fabrications of the campaigns opposing the Soviet Union occur. - An authorization does not bring back the occupied land. - Continous harassment of besieged villages, imprisonment rises, and the people unite in suffering. - Student/university cases. - Literary contributions. - The Union of Palestinian Women's Committees honours the families of Palestinian detainees. - Trade union news. - The Lebanese people pay for the cost of normalizing with Israel in agricultural damages and numerous industrial branches threatened to collapse.
