The three hundred and forty-first issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on September 13, 1984. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: 1. A news article on the home arrest order against George Hazboun. 2. An attack against one of the families in Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp and the residents of the camp lock up the attackers. 3. The Israeli Minister of Police refuses to disclose the results of the Zorea Committeeʾs investigation of the killing of three Palestinians. 4. The attorney Felicia Langer succeeds in releasing a number of Palestinian prisoners from the West Bank. 5. An agreement between HaMa'arakh and the Likud to build 27 new settlements. 6. An article by Bashir al-Barghuthy entitled “Necessary Steps before the Upcoming Session of the Palestine National Council.” 7. A feature story by Atef Saʾd about the situation in Nablus during Eid. 8. An article on the newly paved roads around Hebron as a prelude to enclose the city from all sides. 9. A massive public campaign in Umm al-Fahm calling for the release of prisoners. 10. The Palestinian Medical Relief Society holds more free medical days in Palestinian villages. 11. Palestinian markets suffer from a debilitating recession due to the high costs of living and the reduced purchasing powers of Palestinians.
