Attali'ah Newspaper, Issue No. 358, 10 January 1985
Printed in Ṣalah ad-Din Press with Bashir al-Barghuthy as the managing editor, this 12-page issue no. 357 of Attaliʾah Newspaper was issued on 3 January 1985 and features the following news pieces: 1. The Israeli Occupation uses bullies and the Villages Associations against the Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp. 2. A grand memorial service in honour of land and people's advocate Hanna Naqara marking the first anniversary of his death. 3. A Gush Emunim leader demands the Israeli Occupation Authorities to establish more colonies. 4. The Gaza and West Bank News Column features the following news pieces, New Land Sale and Forgery Cases in the West Bank, the al-Junaid Prison Administration Denies Its Promises to the Relatives of Prisoners, and an Increase in the Arnona/Property Tax. 5. Attorney Jawad Bulus issued an official letter to the Israeli Bar Associaton condemning the immoral treatment of his client at an Israeli Court. 6. The Birzeit University Workers Union staged a protest after the University denied its promises. 7. Following the burning of the Court of Nablus and damaging thousands of land forgery cases, attorneys defend a hundred and fifty similar cases. 8. The Palestinian Medical Relief Committees Union provided its services to twenty thousand patient in a hundred and forty villages in 1984. 9. Mass dismissal of Arab workers from Israeli workshops. 10. The Nablus Municipality employees demand the Jordanian-Palestinian Committee to cash their salaries.
