"Bassam ash-Shakaa: We Seek to Formulate a National Programme to Confront the Surrendered Oslo Accords", a Clipping from Sawt Falastin, Issue No. 330, July 1995

Published in July 1995, this nine-page clipping from Sawt Falastin Magazine, issue 330, includes an interview with the former mayor of Nablus Bassam ash-Shakaa in which he criticizes the Oslo Accords and describes them as the wrong representation of the Palestinian cause and a reason for more living and economic restrictions and Arab struggles. Ash-Shakaa touches on the idea of creating a framework which brings together the three opposing tracks of the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli occupation, namely the religious, the nationalist, and the democratic, in the form of individuals and organizations in the aim to liberate the public will. Ash-Shakaa goes on to describes the peace process as controlled by the United States, Israel and western countries.
