The six hundred and thirty-fifth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on May 3, 1990. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: - Mass celebrations to commemorate May 1st. - The United States Department of State: The Intifada witnessed an increasing escalation during 1989. - Shamir inaugurates the negotiations with religious parties by approving a large-scale settlement plan. - The Jerusalem District Court rejects the appeal of the Patriarchate to disclose the identities of the members of the Panamanian company. - President Havel to the Palestinians who welcomed him: I did not know your situation was this dire. - French communist youth organize a series of activities in solidarity with the Palestinian people. - Serious clashes during Eid al-Fitr that resulted in many Palestinians falling injured. - The shuhadaʾ of the twenty-first week of the Intifadaʾs third year. - Former Israeli minister Weizman: I want my people out of the ghetto and I donʾt have any qualms about the establishment of a Palestinian state. - The Israeli Occupation Forces break up marches and demonstrations commemorating May 1st using tear gas and rubber bullets. - News reports on trade unions and workers. - In a report by Time magazine: Criticism of the Israeli government grows among the members of the Jewish community in the United States. - Dole criticizes the United States for not imposing conditionalities on its aid to Israel.
