Printed in English, this document displays a letter from the Accrediting Commission-National Home Study Council written by the Assistant to the Executive Secretary Mary H. Hanko to Joanne Abed who workes at the Amideast which is an American non-profit. This letter was sent on 24 August 1984, and it addresses a follow-up answer between both ladies; stating the fact that the Chicago School of Interior Decoration gained its accreditation in July 1959 by the National Home Study Council and voluntarily withdrew this accreditation in 1971.
