Attali'ah Newspaper, Issue 814, October 21 1993
The eight hundred and fourteenth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on October 21, 1993. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: - A large-scale settlement scheme in East Jerusalem during the interim period. - The death of a shaheeda in Khan Yunis. - The Gaza borders during the interim period. More Arab land near Israeli settlements in getting confiscated. - A new military attack on Lebanon. - Dr Samir Abdullah: The Jordanian dinar is the currency in circulation. The president of the Manufacturers Association of Israel: Itʾs time for us to end the Arab boycott. - Rabin denies any comprehensive plans to release all Palestinian prisoners. - Israeli vegetable sellers are not allowed entry to Gaza. - Salim az-Zraiʾi after his release: Palestinian prisoners are anxious about entrusting their fate to Israelʾs goodwill. - After the signing of the Declaration of Principles: Israeli companies and settlers in a race against time to impose new realities on the ground.
