The eight hundred and thirty-seventh issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on March 31, 1994. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: 1. Tight security measures on Land Day. 2. Tight security measures enforced on the residents of Hebron including required travel permits between close areas. 3. Israeli factories and companies begin dismantling old production lines for new ones in preparation to enter Arab markets in general and the Gulf market especially. 4. An article by Abdul-Majid Hamdan entitled “Hebron… and the Testing Ground for Self-Governance”. 5. Dr Hamza an-Natsha writes for Attaliʾah “Without Evicting Settlers from Hebron, the Situation will Stay Fraught”. 6. Hebron rejects a Palestinian police force that works for the Israeli occupation. 7. Jabal Al-Mukaber is deprived of the services provided by the municipality of al-Quds (Jerusalem). 8. Bus companies call for ending the closure of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as 57% of the buses have stopped working due to the security belt. 9. Hanan Awwad writes “Palestinian Literature between Great Passion and Hard Times”. 10. An article by Walid Mustafa entitled “The Events at al-Haram al-Ibrahimi were No Coincidence nor an Isolated Act”. 11. An article on the struggle of fresh graduates searching for jobs that always require work experience. 12. An interview with the secretary of the Palestine Red Crescent Society in Nablus. 13. A news article on the tragedy of a family losing their toddler during the 1967 June War. 14. An article on the struggles facing nurses and their relentless dedication to their jobs. 15. The Israeli Kach party mount their activities in the schools of West Jerusalem. 16. Ending sex-segregated buses in al-Quds (Jerusalem). 17. Attaliʾah interviews the president of an-Najah National University “The Spirit of Defiance is What Kept Our Universities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory Running”. 18. An elderly man is arrested and sentenced to administrative detention in Jericho. 19. 1040 dunams of land in Salfit under the threat of seizure and the Israeli occupation authorities submit plans to build two new roads in the area.
