Muna Omari's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Muna Omari's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. In this project, the museum aimed to collect stories related to highly cherished and valuable belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Omari talks about her connection to an old house in Haifa located in Wadi Salib, particularly Al-Burj Street as its original name, owned by the Kanafani Family. During its renovation, she acquired three tiles from the house and was capable of handing it over to 'Abd el-Latif Kanafani, who was the youngest son that resided in the house. She also pointed out how she retrieved the coffee mill from the first Jewish woman that settled in the house in 1948 and was able to return it to its owner, Abd el-Latif Kanafani.
