Mohamad abu Hasireh's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Mohamad abu Hasireh's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. In this project, the museum aimed to collect stories related to highly cherished and valuable belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Abu Hasireh was born in Yaffa in 1938 and sought refuge in Nablus. As a young man, he bought a camera which became his first cherished possession and eventually his first source of income. In 1957, he opened a private studio in Nablus called 'Studio Cairo'.
