Hamada Dana's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Hamada Dana's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. In this project, the museum aimed to collect stories related to highly cherished and valuable belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Dana preserves a wooden box that he had taken by the roadside after clashes between youths and groups of settlers. These clashes were a result of the decision to evacuate one of the houses in the area and settlers seizing it. The box was used to store bullets and weapons, but Dana used it to keep books.
