Abdel-Rahim Natil's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Abdel-Rahim Natil's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. In this project, the museum aimed to collect stories related to highly cherished and valuable belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Natil holds a small lantern that he inherited from his grandfather before the 1967 war. His father had forgotten to bring him a lantern from Egypt to celebrate the arrival of the month of Ramadan, so his grandfather gifted it to him to alleviate his disappointment.
