Aisha Mansour's Interview with the Palestinian Museum, 'Never Part' Exhibition, 2013
This video clip documents Aisha Mansour's interview with the Palestinian Museum as part of the "Never Part" project. In this project, the museum aimed to collect stories related to highly cherished and valuable belongings preserved by Palestinians, which serve as epitomes of their connection to their homeland. Mansour keeps a silver face veil (Burqa) which was inherited from her grandmother and is 180 years old. She received it through her mother, and she mentioned that its original form was different, but when the inheritance was divided between her mother and her aunt, each took a portion of the face veil, leaving it as it was at that time.
