Letters from Prisoners in Israeli Prisons to Nihad Abughosh, the 1980s

Printed in Arabic, English, and French by the Red Cross International Committee, this document shows a family letter handwritten in Arabic by Palestinian prisoner Jamal Waleed Qasem in Bir al-Sabi Prison to prisoner Aref Mohammad az-Zghool in the Mahata Prison in Jordan. In the letter, Zghool talks about the joint unified military-political manifesto of the two Fronts, the Popular Front and the Democratic Front, and of the joy it brought to prisoners for assuring the unity of the Palestinian Liberation Organization at the time.
