Two Photographs of Athuhoor Hills "Ovel Hill"
Found in The Ibrahim al-Fanny Collection, these two photographs glued to a paper show: 1. a photograph of the ground layers in "Ovel Hill" or Athuhoor Hills, which is the hill holding al-Aqsa Mosque and overlooking Silwan town. The "Ovel" is a Hebrew name, where Palestinian call it Athuhoor Hill or Hills. 2. a photograph of the excavations done by Kathleen Kenyon during the Jordanian Ruling of the West Bank in the 1960s, where it shows how the water reached "Ovel Hill" Athuhoor Hills.
