A Plan of the Dual Gate, 1891
Found in The Ibrahim al-Fanny Collection, this Arabic handwritten document shows a section of the dual gate leading to al-Aqsa Mosque which holds the Khataniyeh Zawia. This drawing belongs to the German archaeologist Conrad Schick, one of the first archaeologists to start excavations in al-Quds (Jerusalem) since the 19th century.
