Undated, this archival item, handwritten in Arabic by Ibrahim el-Fanni, shows a multi-page draft that discusses the stages of discovering the archaeological sites in the city of Tulkarm, and the name of the city or the hill changed through different ages from “Tal al-Enab” to “Tulkarm”, where excavations revealed traces of different historical periods, including Byzantine, Umayyad, Persian, Greek and antiquities dating back to the Hyksos era 1700 BC., in addition to antiquities dating back to the Bronze Age 3500 BC. Ibrahim el-Fanni refers at the end of the article to the importance of working on developing and preserving the cultural heritage in Tulkarm.
