Summary of IADL Conference, Paris, 1979
Written in English, this document shows the summary of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) conference from 29 to 30 September 1979, which discussed the details of the Camp David Agreement, and an assessment of its legality from the perspective of international law. It is mentioned that the agreement was drawn up and signed by three countries, namely the United States of America (USA), Israel and Egypt, which contradicts the principles of the right of peoples to self-determination, in addition to neutralizing the rest of the neighbouring countries that Israel has occupied its territories, such as Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, and concluding the deal without their participation, which is a violation of the rule of the relative effect of treaties.
