Hanna Nakkara's Speech at the Country Council, 1972
Handwritten in Arabic, this archival item shows Hanna Nakkara's speech, on behalf of the Friendship movement between Israel and the Soviet Union, which was supposed to be delivered at the Country Council on the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which he wrote on 26 December 1972. In it, he praised the great change after the control of the workers and peasants, the end of tsarist rule in Russia, and the unification of the workforce in all countries of the Soviet Union.
