A Letter from Hisham Halawani to His Wife, Waela, 23 September 1984

Handwritten, this letter is from Hisham Halawani at Nafha Prison to his wife Waela and son Helmi at Sowaneh Neighbourhood in Jerusalem on 23 September 1984, where he wrote the words he could not express while his wife and family visited him, including his sympathy and understanding to the pressures of life Waela has to go through, including work, studying and taking care of a house, he also expressed his deep sorrow that he couldn't share these difficult tasks with her, and for reprimanding his son Helmi during his visit, as he was only trying to motivate him to study and help his mother more, and at the end of the letter, he sent his warm greetings to all family members.
