A Letter from Hisham Halawani to His Wife, Waela, 1976
Handwritten, this letter is from Hisham Halawani at Kfar Yuna Prison to his wife Waela and son Helmi at Sowaneh Neighbourhood in Jerusalem on 7 March 1976. On the first page, he drew a German Bulbul and a Goitered gazelle and expressed his longing for his son Hemli. On the second page, he drew his wife's face, expressed his longing for her and that she is on his mind constantly, wrote of the details of his days in prison and sent his greetings to all family members at the end of the letter.
