Hisham Halwani and Others, Jerusalem, 1985
Taken at as-Sowana Neighbourhood in Jerusalem in June 1985, this photograph shows Hisham Halwani, in the middle dressed in blue, with friends and family after he was freed from prison following the "Jebreel" prisoner exchange agreement between the government of the Israeli Occupation and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, where the family held a dinner party on this occasion. Halwani had spent 10 years in political prison after being sentenced to 3 lifetimes, approximately 75 years.
