A Letter from "Imad" to Anwar Nusseibeh, 28 January 1953
Dated 28 January 1953, a letter addressed to minister Anwar Nusseibeh from a person called Imad, where he thanks him for the precious words spoken by him, and attaches to him a copy of an article he had written and believed to be of comprehensive quality, except in the event that Nusseibeh had any comments, and he said that the magazine would be published early next week. The article was titled “Soldierism and its Impact on Society” and made a distinction between soldiery and slavery with their participation in obedience, as the difference between them was likened to that between steel and tin, both of which shine with polishing, but the difference between steel’s hardness and cohesion and the weakness of tin and its susceptibility to friability.
