A Letter to "Talaat" about the Merits of the Ummah School, 8 October 1959

A letter addressed to a person named “Talaat”, in which the sender mentions that it came in response to the letter dated 13 September of the same year, about the son of Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad, who wants to continue his studies in Britain, and accordingly, the sender nominates the Ummah School for him for several reasons, which he summarized in 6 points including the school is linked to the English education curriculum, its certificate is acceptable at the American University of Beirut, all professors are university students and their Arabic and English languages ​​are good, it respects the Islamic religion despite the fact that its director, Shukri Harami, is a Christian in addition to being a teacher at the Bishop’s School, noting one problem with it, which is the fact that the study is mixed within the classrooms only, while the internal departments are separate - and he notes that despite this, nothing happened to tarnish the reputation of the school or its students.
