A Letter from Alastair abu Lau to Awwar Nusseibeh, 5 February 1964
Found in the Sari Nusseibeh Collection, owned by his father Anwar Nusseibeh and handwritten in English, this document shows a letter from Alastair abu Lau to Anwar Nusseibeh on 5 February 1964 on a paper headed with the British Consulate-General in Jerusalem seal. In the letter, Abu Lau informs Nusseibeh that she will be travelling to the United States of America (USA) during the following month, expresses her sadness for leaving Jerusalem despite her fondness for it, speaks of a woman named Saeda, who, as she described, looked better than before, and ends her letter by hoping that Nusseibeh's children, Munira and Zaki, get good school reports.
