Financial Claim Letter from Anwar Nusseibeh to Leon Kehiayan, 23 December 1963
Dated 23 December 1963, this letter is from Anwar Nusseibeh to Leon Kehiayan in Amman, where Nusseibeh mentions that Aram Ewazian asked him to ask Kahyayan to return 350 Syrian pounds, which he had borrowed from him during his visit to Damascus on 20 April 1962, and this debt has passed for nearly a year and a half despite the repeated demands through letters and friends, he also is asked to pay the amount through his office in Amman or Wade Tallil in the “Shell Amman Company” within a week from its date, otherwise, he will have to take the necessary legal measures and charge him with the consequent expenses and lawyer’s fees. Attached is the claim file is the work card of Wade Yaqoub Talil. On the back, he wrote a letter from Talil addressed to Nusseibeh, stating that he had received a letter from Ewazian via Adib’s garage in Amman/al-Muhajireen Street regarding the aforementioned claim, and requested him to send a warning letter to him at the request of Ewazian.
