Printed in Arabic, this archival item documents an official letter issued by "Issam Awwad" who is the Resident Engineer in Jerusalem for the Construction Committee of al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock addressed to the Director of the Committee on 16 January 1983 on the financial status of the construction; whereas Awwad refers to the attached report of the committee's head of finance and makes clear that the money kept with him is almost finished considering the exemption of the committee to any financial obligations, therefore, he seeks an urgent meeting to discuss the situation as per the definite result is to stop the work after a month from the date to which this report was issued.
