Contract of Tenancy between Abdulfattah Ibraik and Hashim Sabry, 1965

Printed in 1965, this document shows a contract of tenancy between Abdulfattah Salim Ibraik from Nablus and Hashim Sabry from Qalqilya. The contract details the conditions of tenancy including the payment of 30 Jordanian dinars to be paid; two and a half at the end of each month, for eight months, starting from 6 Jumada I 1385 and ending on 30 Dhul-Hijjah; corresponding to 2 September 1965 and ending on 21 April 1966. Other conditions include that at the end of the lease term, the tenant is obliged to hand over the key to the landlord, and if he is late, he shall pay for each day a double rent until the premise is vacated and handed over back to the landlord- the tenant is not entitled to change the premise without the written permission of the landlord and is not allowed to lease the leased premise to another without obtaining the permission and consent of the landlord in writing.
