Contract of Tenancy between Muhammad Foad and Abdulfattah Ibraik, Nablus, 2004

Printed in 2004, this document shows a contract of tenancy between lessor Muhammad Sa'id Fo'ad and tenant Basel Abdulfattah Salim Ibraik. The contract details the conditions of tenancy (of a grain roasting and grinding shop and store) including the payment of 500 Jordanian dinars to be paid at the beginning of each year starting from 1 Muharram 1425 corresponding to 22 February 2004. Other conditions include that at the end of the lease term, the tenant is obliged to hand over the key to the landlord, and if he is late, he shall pay for each day a double rent until the premise is vacated and handed over back to the landlord- the tenant is not entitled to change the premise without the written permission of the landlord and is not allowed to lease the leased premise to another without obtaining the permission and consent of the landlord in writing.
