A Letter from Sari Nseibeh to His Father Anwar

This letter is from Sari Nseibeh to his father, Anwar, where he sends him congratulations on the occasion of Eid, and wishes them a happy holiday for the rest of the family in Abu Dhabi, hoping that his father will contact him after arranging his time to exchange congratulations and to hear the voices of some of them, then he tells him that their fetus has reached the middle of its fourth month and that he is anxiously awaiting his visit in the summer to Jerusalem. Then, he spoke about some of the things he will do during this visit, his mother’s concern for his future, and the feelings of his wife, Lucy (Umm Jamal), regarding her return to Jerusalem after an absence of four years. In the end, he talks about the study of his wife and his work in teaching two curricula, one in political philosophy in the Middle Ages, and the second about a book written by Abu Nasr al-Farabi, and other topics, such as the political situation of the Palestinians under occupation.
