"Al-Kutla al-Wataneyya", a Poem by Rajih al Salfeety
A one-page poem handwritten by Rajih al Salfeety entitled "Al-Kutla al-Wataneyya (literally means the National Bloc)". Written in 1976 during the Salfit Local Council elections, this poem was written to sponsor the National Bloc, which included Rajih al Salfeety, Khamis al-Hamad, and shaheed Ahmad Dahdul who died days before the elections. By the end of the elections, al Salfeety won as a member of Salfit Local Council while his Bloc lost to its immediate opponent.
