"El-Kaf Elly Byekser el-Makhraz", a Poem by Rajih al Salfeety
A five-page poem hand-written in 1988 by Rajih al Salfeety entitled "El-Kaf Elly Byekser el-Makhraz (literally means the hand can stop a spear)". Having had a warm welcoming, the poem was first recited at the Old City of Salfit in the early 1980s during the first demonstration, called for by the "Unified National Leadership of the Uprising". This poem made its way into Israeli jails through the word of mouth from one prisoner to another. This version includes Rajih al Salfeety's signature, notes, and edits.
