Printed at the Princely Press in Cairo, this is volume I of the book “The Selection of Arab Literature” for the third secondary grade, which is a book written by Taha Hussein, Ahmad al-Iskandarani, Ahmad Amin, Aly al-Garem, Abd al-Aziz Bishri and Ahmad Dayf. The book deals with the history of Arabic poetry and literature from the pre-Islamic era to the modern era, and the most important features of literature and poetry in each era.
