The Jerusalem British War Cemetery, Jerusalem, the Late 1920s
Taken in the late 1920s, this photograph shows the Jerusalem Monument General Edmund Allenby inaugurated in 1927 in the Jerusalem British War Cemetery on al-Masharif Mountain in Jerusalem in honour of British military soldiers who died in Palestine during World War I between 1916-1917; during the British Mandate-Ottoman Empire battles.
