An Issue of Asharq al-Awsat Newspaper, 20 June 1985
Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, in its issue dated 20 June 1985, is a daily news newspaper of a general nature. It carried the slogan “The Arab International Newspaper” and was published in London in Arabic by the Saudi International Research and Marketing Company. It was established by the brothers Hisham and Mohammad Ali Hafeth in 1978, and Irfan Nizamuddin was its Editor in Chief. this issue included a set of reports from the world press, including the Financial Times, titled a report "Israel is the one who brought trouble to itself in Lebanon," and in the opinion section, Akram Zuaiter wrote an article titled "Shaheeds' Day: 17 June, 55 years ago."
