Printed and published by the Hashemite Library in 1355 AH corresponding to 1936 AD, this history book is for the primary stages, approved by the Ministry of Education in its schools is written by Kamel Ayyad and Abdel-Ghani Bagqni. The book is divided into 9 main topics divided into 39 lessons as follows: The first topic: The French Revolution, which contains 6 lessons explaining the history of the French Revolution. The second topic: Napoleon, which includes 5 lessons that talk about Napoleon's rule of France. The third topic: France to the late nineteenth century, and contains two lessons on the history of France before the First World War. The fourth topic: The Ottoman Kingdom and it included four lessons that talked about the history of the Ottoman Empire. The fifth topic: Muhammad Ali Pasha in Egypt and Syria, and contains six lessons on the history of Egypt and Syria under the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha. The sixth topic: Chaos in Syria and Lebanon, which included two lessons on the history of Syria and Lebanon after the decline of the campaign of Muhammad Ali Pasha in Syria and the Levant. The seventh topic: Turkey and the Arab Renaissance, which includes four lessons in which the author talked about the beginning of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the emergence of Arab nationalism and separatist movements in the Arab world. The eighth topic: The General War, and contains three lessons about the First World War and the reasons that led to it. The ninth topic: The New Orient, which includes two lessons, in which the author explained the establishment of the modern Turkish state led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the establishment of the Arab state led by King Faisal bin al-Hussein in Syria.
