The Decision of the High Commissioner for Transjordan Appointing Yousef Ali Bey as an Officer, 1938

Issued in Arabic and English by the High Commissioner for Transjordan on 8 August 1938, Harold McMichael, this order is for Yousef Hussein Ali Bey, which read that it was decided to appoint Yousef Bey as an officer in the Transjordan Border Force at the rank of lieutenant, as it was stated in the decision that Yousef would carry out his duties according to his rank with all sincerity and activity, would train and transfer what he had of experience to the soldiers who were lower in rank, and obey and comply with the orders of those higher him in rank. The High Commissioner signed the decision and stamped it by the Mandate government. It is worth noting that this decision confirmed Yousef's service starting 1 April 1926.
